This field unit incorporates LiveU’s breakthrough technologies, providing ‘all-in-one’ capabilities for live news and dynamic sports coverage. You get multi-camera functionality, superior video/audio capabilities and mission-critical transmission in a native 5G unit.

WIDE COVERAGE
Multi-camera access lets you enrich your Remote At-Home Production (REMI) setups. A single portable unit supports up to four high-res, fully frame-synced feeds and uses powerful IP bonding of up to 14 connections.
If you’re in a bandwidth-challenged location, send only one high-quality feed and then switch from the unit or the remote studio.
The LU800 enables remote control of any IP-based equipment. Field-station communication is enhanced with two bi-directional audio channels, as well as Video Return and Tally Light.

LU800 is designed for 5G and ultimate reliability. It delivers superior 5G performance – with up to eight 5G internal dual SIM modems and support from high-efficiency internal antennas*.
LiveU has extensive 5G experience. They have undertaken live 5G broadcasts with leading US, European and APAC cellular providers. They also participated in EU 5G collaborative projects.
The unit has customizable 5G video delivery algorithms and fully supports 5G evolution. LiveU’s Reliable Transport (LRT™) protocol is now fully optimized to support 5G transmission.

GREAT PERFORMANCE
LU800 is noted for its top quality video performance. You have up to 4Kp60 10-bit HDR transmission for optimal color depth and richness, plus 16 audio channels for high-end productions. HEVC live video encoding specifications reach 70Mbps.
